We are pleased to offer this unique travel service, bringing together the best of independent travel with an abiding interest in tea and local culture. Our aim is to introduce people to Xishuangbanna's tea culture, but we also aim to keep our impact positive, respectful and minimal.
We will take you to Hakka, Bulang or Jinuo villages where people have for centuries been cultivating tea.  Of course you will sample tea, since our aim is to offer a travel-education service. And you may buy tea if you wish, from wherever you wish.
Please contact us for more information or  to give details of your trip.

A typical one day itinerary could be 10-12 hours long and would include a visit to one or at most two tea growing areas, since they take time to get to. Groups will be small - at most four or five people.

On the way you will see some of the most pristine high altitude rain forest in China and small villages where local ethnic minority groups live and work. We can take in local markets and festivals that may be being celebrated at the time of your visit.

Typically, we will have lunch in a village on the way where we will eat local food. It will doubtless be some of the best food you will taste on your trip!. Village people are very hospitable and welcoming toward anyone interested in their livelihood and tea culture.

In each area we will see tea production in what are normally small, family run 'tea factories'. You will be able to taste tea from different 'gardens' made by different people and be able to  compare them and understand what makes Yunnan old tea tree teas so special; why each area and each 'garden' produces a unique tea.
