Ping Zi Spring 2011, 357g Raw Puer Cake
General Information: Yunnan Broad Leaf Varietal(sinensis assamica), from the Bulang Shan Range, Spring 2011, Ancient tea tree, naturally post-fermented. Hand picked, fried and rolled. Sun dried. Naturally post-fermented.
Cake: Stone pressed. Predominantly one tip, one leaf and one tip,two leaf formations as can be seen in the photos. Nice plump leaves and stems.
Broth & Flavour: Floral. A pleasing initial bitterness resolves quickly to produce a good huigan with floral notes in the nose and on the upper palate.

Steeping: We recommend using around 5-9 g of tea in a normal Gaiwan with near boiling water. Each portion of tea can be steeped 20 times or so.
